Sun N Sand Beach Resort

 

Pre Primary School

On 11th Oct 1998, Sun N Sand Beach Resort built a pre-primary school. It started off with only 9 Kids & to date an excess of over 500 children have benefited from this project and have successfully graduated from this Facility & joined Government Primary Schools. The objective of the project was to motivate early childhood education and to discourage school dropout rate, which eventually jammed the Beach.

Kikambala primary school

This is a government-owned elementary school which has over 2000 Pupils. One of the objectives of the TRUST is to help educate young children in the area; hence it facilitates Donations in cash or kind, from generous Resort guests in the form of School Supplies, Furnishings, Classrooms, Uniforms, Lunch, and Secondary Education Sponsorships etc. Primary Education in Government Schools in Kenya is free but Secondary & University Education is not, and the Trust Facilitates Funding for these purposes too.
